Electronic-Grade Precision Stainless Steel Strip
301, 304, 316L & 17-7 PH Alloys for High-Reliability Circuits, Connectors, and Shielding
Microscopic Precision, Macroscopic Performance
In an industry where signal integrity is measured in millivolts and component footprints shrink to sub-millimeter scales, uniform metallurgy is non-negotiable. Our precision-rolled stainless-steel strips—301, 304, 316L and 17-7 PH—deliver the ultra-tight thickness control, surface cleanliness and magnetic or non-magnetic properties demanded by the world’s leading OEMs, EMS providers and connector manufacturers.
Alloy Portfolio, Engineered for Electronics
- 301 – High-work-hardening austenitic steel achieving tensile strengths up to 1 800 MPa; ideal for miniature springs, battery contacts and SIM-card cages.
- 304 – Non-magnetic Cr-Ni alloy with excellent corrosion resistance in chlorinated atmospheres; specified for shielding gaskets, LED lead frames and consumer device brackets.
- 316L – Ultra-low carbon, molybdenum-enhanced alloy preventing pitting during reflow soldering; used for medical-grade USB-C shield shells and surgical sensor housings.
- 17-7 PH – Precipitation-hardenable martensitic steel offering yield strengths ≥ 1 380 MPa after CH900 treatment; perfect for high-cycle connector contacts and test-probe needles.
Applications Across the Electronic Ecosystem
Battery & Power Contacts:
- Stress-relief-free 301 reel-to-reel stampings maintain < 5 mΩ contact resistance and 0.01 N insertion force consistency across millions of charge cycles.
EMI/RFI Shielding:
- 304 foil laminated with conductive adhesive attenuates interference up to 40 GHz in 5G smartphones, routers and automotive ECUs.
LED & Sensor Lead Frames:
- 316L micro-ribbons withstand 260 °C reflow profiles and corrosive flux residues, ensuring luminous flux retention in high-brightness modules.
