Precision Stainless Steel Strips for Stamping Excellence
301, 304, 316L Micron-Level Tolerances for Million-Part Consistency
Unrivaled Strip Quality, Engineered for the Die
In precision stamping, a single burr or thickness deviation can shut down a high-speed press and compromise entire production runs. Our cold-rolled stainless steel strips—301, 304 and 316L are produced in state-of-the-art tandem mills and precision slitters to deliver the flatness, edge condition and mechanical repeatability demanded by Class-A progressive dies operating at up to 1,200 strokes per minute.
Alloy Suite, Tailored to Stamping Demands
- 301 – Austenitic grade capable of work-hardening to 1,850 MPa tensile; perfect for micro-springs, clips and EMI fingers requiring high springback.
- 304 – Non-magnetic Cr-Ni alloy with superior ductility for deep-drawn shields, brackets and battery contacts.
- 316L – Low-carbon, molybdenum-bearing alloy for corrosive environments; ideal for medical stampings and marine sensor housings.
Industry-Specific Stamping Applications
Medical Lancets:
- 316L foil, electropolished to Ra 0.05 µm and laser-slit, yields burr-free edges for single-use safety lancets.
Battery Tabs:
- 304 precision strip, tin-plated 2–3 µm and blanked at 800 spm, provides low contact resistance (<0.5 mΩ) in Li-ion cell assemblies.
EMI Shield Fingers:
- 301 high-tensile ribbon, deburred to <5 % of thickness, forms labyrinth shields in 5G base-station enclosures without post-plate grinding.
