Automotive-Grade Precision Stainless Steel Strip
301, 304 & 17-7 PH Alloys Engineered for Tomorrow’s Vehicles
Driving Reliability at Every Revolution
From the moment an engine ignites to the instant ADAS sensors detect a hazard, the unseen components must perform flawlessly. Our precision-rolled stainless-steel strips—301, 304 and 17-7 PH—combine ultra-tight tolerances, high fatigue resistance and corrosion immunity to meet the most stringent OEM and Tier-1 specifications for safety, efficiency and electrification.
Certified Alloys, Road-Ready Properties
- 301 – High-strength austenitic grade offering tensile values up to 1 550 MPa after cold rolling; ideal for lightweight structural reinforcements and resilient spring elements.
- 304 – Chromium-nickel alloy delivering superior oxidation resistance and formability; specified for exhaust couplings, sensor shields and fuel-cell bipolar plate sub-strates.
- 17-7 PH – Precipitation-hardenable martensitic steel providing yield strengths ≥ 1 380 MPa after CH900 treatment; perfect for clutch diaphragms and safety-critical actuators.
Applications Across the Modern Vehicle
Engine & Powertrain:
- 301 high-tensile strip forms turbocharger diaphragm springs that maintain sealing force beyond 200 000 thermal cycles.
Exhaust & Emission Systems:
- 304 precision foil (0.01–0.05 mm) laser-welded into flexible couplings withstands cyclic temperatures from −40 °C to 1 000 °C while resisting chloride attack from road salts.
Electric Drive & Battery Safety:
- 17-7 PH micro-shims, tempered to 45 HRC, ensure consistent stack pressure in prismatic Li-ion cells, extending cycle life and thermal stability.
